Sandy_Alomar,_JrNew out of Mets spring training camp: The Mets just posted a press release, naming Sandy Alomar, Jr. as their new catching instructor.

The old catching instructor Tom Nieto will be the 1st base coach,according to MetsBlog.

Thus ends Alomar’s 20 year playing career. He was up and down with the Mets last year.

And of course, Sandy Alomar, Sr is the Mets third base coach.
