The St. Petersburg Times speculates that Evan Longoria will begin the season at Triple-A, with Willy Aybar starting at third base for the Rays.

Kazmir Won't Be Ready for Opening Day
Scott Kazmir will not start for the Rays when their season begins March 31 at Baltimore.  The lefty has been slowed by an elbow strain and had his first scheduled Spring Training start Sunday pushed back.

Suspensions for Yanks, Rays
Yankees first baseman Shelley Duncan and outfielder Melky Cabrera were suspended for three games following Wednesday's bench-clearing incident.  Tampa Bay's Jonny Gomes was suspended for two games.  All players were fined as were Yankee skipper Joe Girardi and coaches Bobby Meacham and Kevin Long.

Bad Blood In Tampa
Well, we've got a situation developing in Spring Training, and I have to say, I'm not on the Yanks' side for this one. Today, the Yanks double-A catcher, Francisco Cervelli, fractured his wrist on a collision at the plate with Tampa Bay's Elliot Johnson.
